About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Urban Planning and Development at the USC Price School of Public Policy. My research lies at the intersection of urban policy, spatial analysis, and community development, with a focus on understanding how transportation infrastructure investments shape equity and vitality in urban neighborhoods.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I received a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, where I developed strong quantitative analytical skills and policy evaluation frameworks. Earlier, I earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Construction Management from Southwest Jiaotong University, which gave me hands-on understanding of the planning, financing, and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects.

My academic journey has consistently revolved around one central question: How can we plan our cities more intelligently — not only to make them more efficient, but also more just? My research approach combines econometrics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and qualitative case studies, and I am committed to working collaboratively with community members and planning practitioners.
